CUB SCOUT PACK 46
What is a Blue and Gold Celebration?
Boy Scouts of America was organized in February 1910, and Cub Scouts was organized 20 years later in 1930. Since February is the anniversary month for Boys Scouts of America, it is tradition to hold a Blue and Gold Celebration in February which is a "birthday celebration" for the Cub Scouting program.
All of our boys are expected to achieve "rank" by this time, which is what they have been working toward all year long.
There will be a "rank" award ceremony for each den as well as a seperate ceremony honoring those boys who have achieved the highest rank available to a Cub Scout; The Arrow of Light.
Thanks again to all for your continued support to the Boy Scouts of America program.
